Within our walls, 9 artists of different disciplines have their studios: musicians, poets, painters and photographers. An undeniable part of heART school’s charm is the buildings inherent features and the way we have dressed them up with color and life. You won’t find these elements in any other place in the city! Ten foot ceilings with handmade industrial, found-object light fixtures, brightly colored murals on the floors, and large windows are just a few of the first things you notice. STUDIOS
heART school is the LOVE child of Carrie Mitchell, dreamed up and built in the summer of 2012. The space has evolved into a work of art, occupied by 9 local artists in permanent studios. The studio space has some of the best people watching windows around! An inspirational and thriving opportunity for artists who might normally work alone to work in a collective setting & share ideas. heART school is a go-to destination for creative souls.

heART school is a social gallery, shared space, and creative living room. Ask about hosting your meeting or gathering in a vibey, creative environment! Our open-concept space is perfect for artists to run workshops and group gatherings. Our in-house workshops are primarily adult-only, but we welcome school groups and facilitators of all types.
